Gordon Ramsay Makes a Statement at Marina Bay Sands

Thanks to a new partnership between Marina Bay Sands and Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Gordon Ramsay, foodies will be able to get their British culinary fix at Bread Street Kitchen soon. Destined to become one of Singapore’s hottest dining destinations, the internationally renowned celebrity chef and television personality adds to his dynamic collection of 25 restaurants across the continents, bringing his magic to one of Asia’s most popular resorts.

“I’m delighted to be opening in Singapore with a partner such as Marina Bay Sands,” said Ramsay, who is well known for providing world-class gastronomic experiences. “The further expansion into Asia is an exciting move for us and will see our successful London concepts being transferred and tailored to this new market.”

Launching his successful Bread Street Kitchen concept at The Shoppes, Ramsay joins the ranks of other iconic chefs at Marina Bay Sands including Mario Batali, Daniel Boulud, Wolfgang Puck, Tetsuya Wakuda, Justin Quek and David Thompson. Modelled after its London counterpart, Asia’s gourmands can look forward to a British European menu that is focused on fresh seasonal produce served in a lively setting.

“Gordon has an outstanding track record in his many different restaurant concepts and business enterprises,” explained George Tanasijevich, President and CEO of Marina Bay Sands. “We believe his Bread Street Kitchen is the ideal concept for Marina Bay Sands as it will strengthen the world-class dining options that our visitors have come to expect from us.”

Originally rooted in fine dining, The Gordon Ramsay Group has expanded to include more casual fine dining sites offering a wide variety of guest experiences around the globe such as maze, Petrus and Union Street Café in London, Gordon Ramsay Steak in Las Vegas, and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, England, which is the Group’s flagship venue and has held three Michelin stars for more than 12 years.
