Although the festive season is often romanticised with evergreens glistening with powdery white snow, InterContinental Bali Resort is leaning more into its tropical locale instead. Le Jardin de Jimbaran Festive Season takes cues from its manicured gardens and Jimbaran Bay’s natural beauty, making way for the resort to embrace warmth and joy on the island throughout December.
Eternal Bloom, a Christmas tree designed by Paul Ropp, serves as the resort’s centrepiece for this jolly season. Fashioned from the atelier’s leftover fabrics and textile offcuts, it features blossoms of many colours adorning five glowing rings, symbolic of harmony, balance, and completeness in Balinese tradition. “Eternal Bloom reflects our commitment to creativity, community, and the natural beauty that inspires our resort,” shared Francois De Merwe, Director of Food & Beverage.
The lighting of the tree on 1 December 2025 marked the beginning of the resort’s festivities. Throughout the month, KO Restaurant hosts Zen Garden Omakase on Saturdays, while Golden Hour in the Garden beckons guests to Sunset Beach Bar & Grill with tempting handcrafted botanical cocktails. Planet Trekkers is ready to entertain young guests with various activities, allowing parents to take advantage of revitalising spa treatments, Balinese blessings and purification rituals, or yoga and jog sessions.
Christmas Eve invites diners to a trio of choices: the vibrant Hikari no Yoru (Night of Light), boasting Japanese delicacies at KO Restaurant, a lavish buffet for all ages at Taman Gita, and romantic Italian classics at Bella Cucina. The morning after becomes more magical as the latter puts festive twists on Italian favourites with Buon Natale Brunch. Alternatively, fully embrace the tropical holiday atmosphere with an international buffet brunch by the glittering pool at Jimbaran Gardens. Once New Year’s Eve comes around, diners can return to Bella Cucina for La Notte Elegante, a curated candlelit dinner, while the cosy KO Restaurant opens its doors for the Feast of Sayōnara teppanyaki or sushi set.
It all leads up to the grandeur of a New Year’s Eve countdown gala, A Night of Le Jardin. The Imperial Grand Ballroom will be transformed into a lush jungle fit for an international buffet that lasts well after midnight while The Joll, a magician performance, immersive dances, and live music dazzle with their captivating performances to keep guests entertained throughout the evening.
To round things off on New Year’s Day, Bella Cucina once again dishes out Italian favourites with a coastal charm for Renewal Brunch against the salty sea breezes.
