Jumeirah Bali has unveiled Amukti Jiwa, a new monthly curated wellness series designed to guide guests on a journey towards balance, renewal and inner freedom. The launch was marked by the very first edition held at the resort’s Trowulan venue, attended by both in-house guests and wellness enthusiasts.
The name Amukti Jiwa comes from Old Javanese, meaning liberation of the soul. True to its essence, the series combines ancient practices with contemporary approaches, creating space for harmony of body, mind and spirit. Set within the tranquil surroundings of Jumeirah Bali, the programme will evolve each month with carefully selected practitioners, each offering unique perspectives on wellness.
The debut session opened with guided Hatha Yoga led by Jumeirah Bali’s resident yoga guru, focusing on breath and movement to ground the body and calm the mind. Following this, participants were invited to a personal chakra reading with expert practitioners, offering insights into energy flow and emotional balance.
Adding a meaningful touch, each guest received a clay tridatu infused with aromatherapy oils tailored to their chakra, creating a symbolic and sensory reminder of their individual journey. Between sessions, participants were served nourishing refreshments crafted from seasonal ingredients, encouraging mindful moments of pause and reflection.
Reflecting the philosophy of Talise Spa, Amukti Jiwa is a holistic encounter with self-discovery, mindfulness, and renewal at its core. With new themes and practices introduced each month, the series will bring together a wide range of expertise, from movement and meditation to energy work and holistic therapies.
Through this evolving series, Jumeirah Bali invites both guests and the wider community to embrace a deeper connection with themselves and to find harmony in the art of wellbeing.
