London

Hailed as one of the world’s most visited cities, London has something for everyone. The vibrant town is easily recognised by its iconic buildings, including the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and of course the famed clock tower and bell at the Palace of Westminster, Big Ben. A melting pot for every race and colour, London is filled with history, culture and entertainment.

Although there are many great sights in central London, taking a day trip to out of the city is also a great idea. Pay a visit to Windsor Castle, home of the British royal family for the last 900 years. See St. George’s Chapel before continuing the trip to Salisbury, where the ancient and mysterious Stonehenge awaits. Head west towards the largest city in the county of Somerset, historic Bath. Take a tour through the centuries and explore the only city in the UK designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and visit the Roman Baths.

When it comes to culinary offerings, no place in the world can match up to London for diversity. The UK is famous for fish and chips, and if you’re craving this then Hook Camden Town is deemed to have the best version of the original delicacy. For a Michelin-starred experience, Gordon Ramsay is one of only two restaurants that has three stars in London.

Finding somewhere to stay in London is an easy thing to do with loads of great choices to be found, including Hotel Café Royal in trendy Mayfair. The hotel has been around for 150 years and has been the preferred home address for Oscar Wilde, Muhammad Ali, Winston Churchill, David Bowie and more.
