Refresh your senses

The Padma Resort Ubud threw open its doors for its formal Grand Opening on Saturday, February 27th. A select group of guests and VIPs were invited to stay at the newly opened resort to enjoy a sumptuous Gala Dinner and Wellbeing Programme.

Situated north of Ubud, the resort has a stunning location with, as noted by General Manager Reza Sunardi, sweeping “multi-million-dollar views” of tropical forest.

Padma Resort Ubud makes the most of this gorgeous setting and it is a prime feature of all the facilities. From the divine Puhu Restaurant & Lounge on the top floor, to the Wine Lounge and through every guestroom, the verdant rainforest view is king.

The eye-catching centrepiece – the 89m long, heated infinity pool – must be the jewel and offers a myriad of spots for that perfect photograph of you lounging in the water with a cocktail in your hand against a backdrop of lush, tropical greenery.

Executive Chef Ketut Sumerta and his kitchen team pulled out all the stops for the guests with an incredible international feast of house-made treats for a lunchtime buffet, a wonderful fine dining menu for the Gala Dinner and an extensive breakfast the following day. They wrapped the weekend up with a super fresh range of pan-Asian and Mediterranean fare at The Pool Cafe & Bar.

Guest wellbeing was assured with massages in the quirky spa, sunrise and sunset yoga and the use of the 3.4 km jogging track that meanders through the resort grounds towards the river valley. A range of other activities were available by request.

The generously appointed, stylish rooms, with high-quality amenities, a choice of pillows and comfy beds, ensured that all the guests were well rested.

The Padma Resort Ubud’s Grand Opening was a huge success and the resort is sure to rapidly become one of the must-visit places in Bali.
