After the success of the inaugural festival two years ago, the Ubud Food Festival is back for another round this May – from the 12th till the 14th. As always, the Ubud Food Festival brings together the most celebrated chefs, restaurateurs, professional food enthusiasts and everyday food lovers from Indonesia and abroad for a three-day culinary journey – of course, with Indonesian food as the main star. Some of the highlights of this year’s Ubud Food Festival are Indonesian Celebrity Chef Farah Quinn, Chefs Bo Songvisava and Dylan Jones of Bangkok’s coveted Bo.lan, Chris Salans from Bali’s internationally acclaimed Mozaic, Chef Marinka from Indonesian Master Chef and Indonesian food writer Petty Elliot. Also worth noting are the programmes offered at the festival that include free cooking demonstrations, and getting to know all the people and parties involved in getting the food from the farm to the plate. All in all, the Ubud Food Festival is an event no foodie should miss.
