Through food, conversation and community spirit, ARYADUTA Menteng marks its 51st anniversary with a celebration that feels both heartfelt and refreshingly down-to-earth. From conversation cards at the table to playful role-swaps among staff, this year’s programme invites everyone to take part in stories worth sharing.
What makes a meal memorable? According to ARYADUTA Menteng, it’s not just about what’s on the table, but the stories that unfold around it. Marking its 51st anniversary this June, the hotel launched its annual Sapta Rasa campaign with the theme Every Table Tells a Story, inviting guests to rediscover the value of shared meals, laughter and conversation.
The programme kicked off in May across all ARYADUTA properties, turning ordinary dining into a chance to connect. At ARYADUTA Menteng, each table comes with a set of Meja Cerita conversation cards—designed for families, couples or friends—encouraging meaningful exchanges while enjoying specially curated dishes. The experience stretches across its outlets, from Ambiente Ristorante and JP Bistro to Shima and the Lobby Bar Lounge.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, the hotel rolled out a lively line-up of events that brings everyone into the fold. From a creative workshop to a heartfelt CSR initiative with Yayasan Emmanuel, the focus has been on inclusion. Even children from orphanages and hospitality students were invited to join sessions led by new Executive Chef Joko Tri Asmoro and Cluster Director of Food and Beverage, Hermann Feigl.
There’s a playful side to the schedule too. Switch The Role day will see department heads trying out each other’s jobs—yes, the General Manager might just be manning the reception for a day. Staff were also treated to free grooming sessions, while eco-conscious initiatives like Aksi Muda Jaga Iklim took employees back to Tanjung Pasir to check on 1,000 mangrove trees planted last year.
Guests can look forward to a mid-June UMKM bazaar spotlighting Betawi flavours, and a strong showing at the upcoming Jakarta International Marathon on 29 June 2025, where ARYADUTA Menteng will serve as an official partner. Families staying over the weekend can also enjoy complimentary kids’ activities including baking, sushi-making and towel art.
