From beautiful endek woven fabric to paintings made by the disabled community, this exhibition showcases the rich traditional heritage and talent of Indonesia.
Colors of Nusantara, a vibrant celebration of Indonesian artistry, fashion, community, cuisine and traditions, particularly Balinese heritage, was officially launched by Novotel Bali Benoa. The opening ceremony, held on Friday, 15 August 2025, featured endek woven fabrics from Agung Bali Collection and paintings by the disability community Inkrebilitas Bali.
It was officially opened by Juliana Liew, General Manager of Novotel Bali Benoa; Drs. “Through Colors of Nusantara, we aim to strengthen our commitment to making a positive impact on society by providing space for local communities to showcase their extraordinary talents and creations,” said Juliana Liew.
She also expressed her hope that it will inspire guests while simultaneously preserving Indonesia’s rich cultural and traditional heritage.
The guests who attended the opening ceremony were also treated to live painting, coffee brewing by a blind barista and reflexology demonstrations by blind therapists.

Colors of Nusantara is a series of events. In September, the exhibition continues with works by Bali’s Maestro Artists, followed by a fashion show in October by Agung Bali Collection. The celebration will wind up in December with a New Year’s Eve bash in 2026.
Among the featured artists from Inkrebilitas Bali who participated in the event were I Komang Sudiarta, I Gede Agus Mertayasa, I Wayan Wahyu Mahamerru and I Wayan Damai. The exhibition itself will be on display in the Novotel Bali Benoa lobby from 15 to 30 August 2025, from 8am to 6pm. Along with paintings, visitors can buy coffee, aromatic incense, T-shirts and tote bags.
