Recognised for its consistent role in shaping Jakarta’s festive economy, ARYADUTA Menteng closes the year with a city-level honour that reflects more than seasonal decoration.
Festive celebrations in Jakarta often leave a lasting impression not through scale alone, but through how thoughtfully they are carried out. That spirit was acknowledged when ARYADUTA Menteng was officially announced as the Five-Star Hotel winner at Jakarta Festive Wonders 2025, an award presented by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta to recognise meaningful contributions across hospitality, retail, and creative sectors.
The announcement took place on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, marking the conclusion of the Jakarta Festive Wonders 2025 programme at Mal Grand Indonesia. The award was presented directly by Pramono Anung, Governor of DKI Jakarta, underscoring the event’s standing as a formal city initiative rather than an industry-led accolade.
Jakarta Festive Wonders was designed as a platform to evaluate how businesses activate the year-end season in ways that support economic momentum while engaging wider communities. In ARYADUTA Menteng’s case, the selection followed a structured audit process conducted by institutions appointed by the provincial government. These included the Jakarta Hotel Association, PHRI, Bank Indonesia, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), along with several regional government bodies.
Assessment criteria extended beyond visual presentation. Judges examined the quality and coherence of Christmas and New Year decorations, promotional programming, and the hotel’s participation in initiatives supporting small and medium enterprises. Programmes related to corporate social responsibility and environmental, social, and governance commitments were also central to the evaluation.
The hotel’s involvement in government-supported initiatives formed another key consideration. Partnerships with Disparekraf DKI Jakarta and Baznas Indonesia, including relief support for Sumatra, were factored into the final assessment. These efforts were viewed alongside longer-term collaborations with environmental organisations such as Penjaga Laut and Econusa, reflecting an approach that integrates hospitality operations with broader social engagement.
ARYADUTA Menteng’s presence within Jakarta’s creative and cultural landscape also contributed to its recognition. The hotel has been involved in major events and productions, including the Netflix film Lupa Daratan by Ernest Prakasa, as well as large-scale public events such as BTN Jakarta International Marathon. Engagement with national and local media across print, digital, television, and radio further reinforced its visibility during the festive period.
Commenting on the achievement, Fajar Sukarno, General Manager of ARYADUTA Menteng, noted that the award positions the hotel among the leading five-star properties recognised during Jakarta Festive Wonders 2025. More importantly, it affirms a continued commitment to supporting economic growth, creative activity, and sustainable development within the capital.
