At JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, a new kind of family holiday is taking shape, one that blends discovery, creativity, and connection with the natural rhythms of southern Thailand. With the launch of Family by JW Club, the resort introduces an immersive, nature-led programme designed to inspire young minds while bringing families closer together.
Created for children aged 4-12, alongside dedicated spaces for toddlers and teenagers, the experience reimagines the traditional kids’ club. Here, learning unfolds through play, storytelling, and hands-on exploration. Mornings might begin with harvesting herbs and vegetables from the resort’s expansive 27-acre JW Garden, where children are introduced to the origins of food, composting and mindful living.
Thoughtfully designed by Khun Vattanaporn Tungsanga and his team at Leka Studio, the space reflects the landscapes of Phang Nga. Children move through zones inspired by jungle trails, forest camps and coastal villages, with treehouses, climbing structures, and role-play environments fostering imagination and exploration. Calmer corners and soft-play areas ensure every age group feels at ease.
