The Asian Debut of Day Zero Bali

Mysticism lingers easily in Bali. From legendary heroes’ journeys to blessings believed to flow from ethereal beings, the island’s cultural life remains closely tied to myth and ritual. It is a fitting setting for Day Zero, one of Mexico’s longest-standing rave gatherings led by British DJ and producer Damian Lazarus, which will make its Asian debut on 17 April 2026.

The concept of Day Zero Bali mirrors the cosmic spirit of its Mexican predecessor, which has been held in the Mayan jungles of Tulum since 2012. Inspired by ancient civilisations and the symbolism of the Mayan calendar, the event blends electronic music with ritualistic staging and immersive environments.

Presented by Damian’s label Crosstown Rebels, in collaboration with Savaya Group, the festival will take over Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park under the theme Journey to the Centre of the Universe. The lineup includes Bonobo, Francis Mercier, PNNY, Ryota, and Damian Lazarus, with additional events from 14-18 April 2026 at Desa Kitsuné, Ulu Cliffhouse, and Savaya Bali, featuring MĪMĪ x FY, Jan Blomqvist, and Tijana T.
