Q: What inspired you to pursue a career in hospitality?
A: I’ve always been passionate about creating memorable experiences for people. Hospitality allows me to combine service, creativity, and culture to offer guests something beyond just accommodation. Seeing someone smile because of a simple gesture or thoughtful detail truly inspired me to follow this path.

Q: How did your journey lead you to Padma Resort Ubud?
A: My journey in hospitality has been one of continuous learning and growth. Over the years, I’ve worked across various properties, gaining valuable insight into operations, guest expectations, and leadership. Joining Padma Resort Ubud felt like a natural progression, a place where nature, culture, and genuine service come together beautifully. As part of Padma Hotels, one of Indonesia’s leading hotel groups, Padma Resort Ubud reflects the brand’s commitment to heartfelt service and timeless elegance.

Q: What was your first impression when you joined the property?
A: It was love at first sight. The resort’s setting amidst Ubud’s lush river valley and pristine forest is simply breathtaking, offering a sense of peace and harmony. But beyond the scenery, what truly stood out to me was the warmth and pride of the people, their genuine smiles, and passion for what they do.

Q: How would you describe a typical day as General Manager?
A: No two days are ever the same, which is one of the things I love most about this role. I usually start my mornings walking around the resort, greeting guests, chatting with staff, and soaking in the view. The rest of the day might involve meetings, planning, or supporting the team where needed, but I always make time to connect with guests. Hearing their stories keeps me grounded and inspired.

Q: What do you think makes Padma Resort Ubud special to its guests?
A: It’s the sense of serenity and connection. Guests come here not only to relax but to feel renewed. The combination of world-class facilities, heartfelt Balinese hospitality, and the natural beauty surrounding the resort creates an experience that truly touches the soul.

Q: How do you keep your team motivated and connected?
A: I believe motivation comes from feeling valued and inspired. We focus on open communication, empowerment, and celebrating every achievement, big or small. I encourage the team to see themselves as ambassadors of Padma’s spirit, where teamwork, care, and pride drive everything we do.

Q: Is there a guest story or experience that’s stayed with you?
A: There are many, but one that stands out is a couple who returned to celebrate their anniversary with us. They told me that Padma Resort Ubud feels like coming home. That simple comment reminded me why we do what we do: to create lasting emotional connections.

Q: What has been the most rewarding part of your role so far?
A: Without a doubt, it’s seeing guests leave with unforgettable memories and watching our team grow in their careers. Every positive review or returning guest reflects our collective effort, and that shared sense of accomplishment is incredibly fulfilling.

Q: How would you describe your leadership style in a few words?
A: Empathetic, collaborative, and purpose-driven. I believe in leading by example and being present for the team. When people feel seen, supported, and trusted, they naturally give their best.

Q: What are your hopes for Padma Resort Ubud in the years ahead?
A: To continue being a sanctuary where guests can reconnect with nature and themselves. I also hope to strengthen our commitment to sustainability, the environment, and the local community. My dream is for Padma Resort Ubud to remain a timeless destination that celebrates Ubud’s beauty and inspires every guest who visits.
