Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali Shares a Vision for All

Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali brings clearer sight to the Jimbaran community, donating prescription glasses to 1,000 people, including elderly residents and schoolchildren, in the neighbourhood.

One of the valuable pillars of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali is giving back to the local community in Bali, and the resort is sharing this vision quite literally. On 30 April 2026, it took over Wantilan Kuari and welcomed residents of the local neighbourhood to Vision for All, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme that provided free eye screenings and prescription glasses.

“This effort reflects the power of collaboration. At Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, we are committed to supporting community wellbeing and long-term development through meaningful and sustainable initiatives,” shared General Manager Jan Kroeckel, reflecting on this programme’s collaboration between the resort, Lions Club International, and Komunitas Goa Maria Kana (KGMK).

Throughout the day, members of the local community flowed in and out from 7.30am to 5pm. Children fidgeted with their new glasses as they walked out, while elders slowly adjusted to their newly renewed eyesights. The atmosphere was further enlivened by the presence of Victoria Titisari Kosasieputri, the Balinese pageant dubbed Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2026, who wears glasses herself.

Elly Halim from KGMK added, “We believe that good vision is a window to a better future. Through this program, we hope children can learn more comfortably, parents can work more effectively, and the people of Jimbaran can carry out their daily activities with an improved quality of life.”
