At Grand Cafe, Grand Hyatt Jakarta, Friday evenings now revolve around a Wagyu-focused feast that brings premium cuts, live cooking stations, and Indonesian favourites together in one setting.
Beginning on 5 June 2026, Grand Cafe offers Wagyu Feast, taking place every Friday starting from 6pm. This culinary program is held in the third floor of Grand Hyatt Jakarta and focuses on premium Wagyu, where guests will find live cooking stations, table-served specialties, and an extensive list of dishes inspired by various cultures of international and Indonesian cuisines.
Firstly, guests can enjoy the taste of A5 Kagoshima Wagyu with an additional table-served menu of Chawanmushi, Bone Marrow with Sambal Ijo Emulsion, and Barramundi Tuturuga to give you various textures and tastes before enjoying the rest of your dining experience.
From there, attention shifts to the live stations, chefs prepare dishes to order, allowing diners to watch the process as Wagyu Wellington is sliced, roasted Wagyu ribs are carved, and Wagyu beef rolls are assembled fresh. Wagyu Sukiyaki and Wagyu burgers add further variety, creating a spread that moves comfortably between familiar comfort food and more elaborate preparations.
Moving from there, focus is given on live cooking stations where dishes are cooked right in front of customers while observing the process of slicing Wagyu Wellington, cutting roast Wagyu ribs, and creating Wagyu beef rolls. There is more variation with the use of Wagyu Sukiyaki and Wagyu burgers that make up an extensive menu that can go from comfort food to elaborate dishes.
Beverages are provided via two optional beverage packages that you can choose between. First is the simple Indulgence package where there is a free flow of wine, beer, soft drinks, and fresh juices for two hours. For guests celebrating a particular event, the Celebration Experience provides more options with Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial wines, cocktails, mocktails, beer, and coffee or tea.
A culinary spectacle unlike any other, the Wagyu Feast is designed to be a unique experience rather than a normal buffet. It’s as simple as that, get together at the table and try different types of Wagyu dishes. Grand Café has created yet another incentive for customers to hang out a bit longer in the evening, while Friday night entertainment continues to become more competitive throughout the city.
