Burberry Paints Bangkok in Summer Hues

Burberry has transformed The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon into a seasonal destination inspired by the spirit of British summer and the energy of Bangkok this July 2026. Set within the iconic Mahanakhon building, the hotel serves as the backdrop for a series of immersive brand experiences that blend fashion and local culture.

Guests are welcomed by Burberry’s signature House Check, reimagined in a vibrant yellow hue that appears throughout the property, from rooftop loungers and poolside cabanas to a custom photo booth at The Parlor. The colour palette also incorporates green, a shade closely associated with Bangkok, creating a visual dialogue between the British fashion house and its host city.

Beyond the design elements, the takeover extends into the guest experience. Visitors can enjoy a bespoke Burberry menu by the rooftop pool, while custom ice pops are served from a dedicated cart against sweeping views of the Bangkok skyline. Reflecting Burberry’s longstanding connection to outdoor exploration, the programme also includes a selection of wellness-focused activities.

The activation launched with a celebratory event featuring a performance by a local artist. Guests and friends of the brand were invited to explore the city aboard Burberry Check tuk-tuks, adding a distinctly Bangkok character to the occasion. Throughout the takeover, the hotel boutique will showcase Burberry’s High Summer and Summer 2026 collections, allowing visitors to engage directly with the brand’s latest designs.
