After 25 years in hospitality, Goeun Lee returns to a country she has considered second home, taking on the role of Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay.
For anyone who knows Jimbaran, the rhythm of the bay begins well before sunrise. Fishing boats line the shore, the coastline curves towards the horizon, and above it sits Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, designed around the form of a Balinese village.
It is into this distinctly Balinese setting that Goeun Lee steps in as Resort Manager. The appointment marks a return on two fronts: to Four Seasons after almost a decade at its Seoul property, and to Indonesia, where Lee attended Surabaya Intercultural School and has long regarded the country as a second home.
Her 25-year career has taken her from the front office at Sheraton Boston to senior leadership in Seoul, before a recent tenure as General Manager of Haevichi Hotel & Resort Jeju. At Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, she moved from Learning Manager into operational leadership and later People & Culture, an experience that shaped her approach to the teams behind a hotel’s daily operation.
