Emma Kristyono’s journey to become a celebrated makeup artist didn’t begin with palettes or brushes. Her first foray was in fashion, working with editorial shoots, campaigns, and commercials. While constantly surrounded by the beauty industry, she never made it a major part of her career until she started doing wedding makeup. She fell in love with its power of transformation: not quite changing a person into someone else, but in a sense, allowing them to reveal different parts of their fluid selves.
