Bali: The Royal Santrian

Beachfront Luxuruy In Tanjung Benoa

The large infinity pool, with built in Jacuzzi, overlooks the palm-lined golden sands of the resort’s private beach and, with luxury loungers and excellent service always on hand, it makes an ideal spot for sunbathing and relaxation.

With just 17 Deluxe Villas and three Royal Villas, The Royal Santrian is a luxurious and extremely private beachfront resort set within 2.5 hectares of verdant, manicured tropical gardens. Located on the Tanjung Benoa peninsula, it is a perfect sanctuary for those seeking relaxation, whilst being perfectly located as a base to explore much of what the island has to offer.
Enter the Royal Santrian via a paved water garden into the large and rather grand reception. Featuring some delightful local arts that interplay beautifully with the contemporary design, the reception opens onto a sundrenched paradise hedged by the private villas, spa villas, infinity pool, the Martini Bar and the very popular All Spice restaurant.

The contemporary design of the air-conditioned All Spice restaurant also features a relaxed outdoor space adjacent to the kitchen, from where Executive Chef Budiyono works his magic. With delicious dishes from Thailand, Japan and France, plus a host of classic Western cuisines, the menu is impressive and the food excellent.

With Balinese-style wooden ceilings, the luxurious villas are large and richly appointed. Both the Deluxe and Royal Villas offer private pool and gardens, fantastic bathrooms and high levels of comfort and privacy. The three beachfront Royal Villas each feature a 7 by 6m pool, outdoor bathrooms, an open-air gazebo and a glass panelled jacuzzi that overlooks the ocean through a large circular window. Dark wood and glass feature heavily throughout all the villas, alongside luxurious textiles.

Whilst there, why not take advantage of the expert masseuses and therapists at SPA The Royal Santrian. Treatments are available in the comfort and privacy of your own villa too, and include a range of full body massages, body treatments, Ayurvedic therapies and refreshing facials.

Nusa Dua has carved out a reputation for quality accommodation in a more relaxed setting than one would find in Seminyak or Kuta, for instance. With the opening of the new toll road, it is now an excellent base from which to explore both the north and south of the island.
