Bali: The St. Regis

Devoted to the Pursuit of Service & Elegance

The St. Regis Bali Resort is an excellent choice for the discerning holidaymaker who demands high levels of comfort and service.

The name St. Regis is synonymous globally with luxury and outstanding service and, from the moment you arrive at the impressive front gate and head along the colonnaded driveway, it quickly becomes apparent why.

The imposing porte cochere leads to a striking open lobby, where lavish contemporary furnishings vie with authentic Balinese art for your attention. Typical throughout the resort, the lobby service is first class; the welcome is always warm and sincere and the attention to detail is a delight.

A truly idyllic destination, the resort offers some of the finest five-star experiences on the island. With around 8 hectares of tropical gardens and vast lagoon pools, it is a relaxed and calm oasis. The beachfront is among the island’s most pristine and attractive, with uninterrupted views over the white sands and reef towards the neighbouring island.

For comfort, the richly planted tropical lagoon offers sunny and shady positions throughout the day. Tastefully furnished with sundecks and luxurious loungers, it also features a network of fountains that provide wonderfully melodic background music, whilst the Remède Spa offers a fantastic experience for its guests delivered by its highly trained therapists.

The enchanting villas and suites are welcoming and opulent, furnished with authentic works of art and sumptuous linens. On arrival, your personal butler can even unpack your suitcase and is on hand to help make your stay just perfect.

Sleeping up to six people, the voluminous three-bedroom, majestic 966 sq.m. Strand Residence is the largest villa. With mahogany floors, broad wooden shutters and dressed throughout with authentic art and fine furnishings, it is a luxurious palace in a delightful beachfront setting.

In-villa entertainment is state-of-the-art and includes a Bose surround sound music system. The bedrooms are elegant and plush, as are the marble bathrooms, which feature spacious stand-alone bathtubs and rain showers, as well as being stocked with luxurious Remède bath products. Outside, the elegance continues all the way to the private beach with landscaped gardens, a private pool and masses of room for relaxation.

Dining at the resort is extraordinarily good and with excellent restaurants, bars and the Gourmand Deli, the difficult choice is perhaps where to eat! Boneka is the restaurant of choice for many guests, with its fantastic breakfast and dinner menus, plus outstanding Sunday Brunch, whilst I personally adore the flagship restaurant, Kayuputi. Celebrated for its degustation menus, hosted wine dinners and superb Sunday Champagne Brunches, it stands out as one of the most sought-after fine dining experiences on the island.
