Coldplay fans in Indonesia who have been waiting for decades for the band to make an appearance in the country can finally squeal with glee. Recently, the band announced its Music of the Spheres concert dates for Asia and Australia, and the mention of Jakarta on the list has been the talk of the town ever since.
Scheduled for 15 November 2023, Coldplay will have its first concert in Indonesia at Gelora Bung Karno stadium. Known and loved for their theatrical and vibrant performances, fans are excited to be awash in neon colours, signature of the band’s aesthetics. The Asia and Australia phase will start in Tokyo, Japan on 6 and 7 November, before continuing to Kaohsiung, Taiwan on 11 November, Jakarta on 15 November, and rounding up the tour in Perth, Australia on 18 November, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 22 November 2023.
