A celebration of purpose and generosity, the gala welcomed guests to a soulful evening benefitting the Bali Life Foundation.
Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort hosted an unforgettable charity gala titled An Evening of Elegance & Empathy, bringing together guests for a night devoted to meaningful impact. Held on Friday, 14 November 2025, the event successfully raised IDR500,000,000 (approximately USD30,000) in support of the Bali Life Foundation, an organisation dedicated to uplifting underprivileged children, women, and families across the island.
The gala took place at the resort’s Kecak Ballroom, where guests were welcomed to an evening of refined dining and heartfelt generosity. A specially curated four-course dinner was accompanied by free-flow beverages, setting the tone for a warm and engaging night. Entertainment flowed seamlessly throughout the evening, with live music by the Lydia Rose Quartet and a dynamic DJ performance by Yotta, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.
One of the most moving moments of the night came from an inspiring address by Piter Panjaitan, Director of Bali Life Foundation, who shared the organisation’s journey and success stories. This was followed by a touching Balinese performance by the children, reminding guests of the true purpose behind the gathering.
With more than 178 attendees, the event featured a lively raffle and an energetic auction led by renowned news anchor Togi Sinaga. Guests enthusiastically bid on a selection of luxurious getaways and exclusive experiences, including stays at various Sofitel destinations. The spirited atmosphere ultimately contributed to the remarkable fundraising total achieved.
