The festivities began with a Sunday brunch at Prego, where refined Italian comfort foods meet the cosy, witchy atmosphere of fall, curated by Chef Michele Antonucci. Dressed in cobwebs and pumpkins, the restaurant’s lively atmosphere only increased in the afternoon as magic shows enchanted audiences young and old while kids poured their imagination out decorating cookies.
Heavenly Spa by Westin is also treating children to something special. While they can get the usual hair, facial and nail treatments, two complimentary smoothies will bring a touch of the macabre to their pampering sessions. Choose from the antioxidant rich Witch’s Brew, a refreshing concoction of blueberries and banana, or the Pumpkin Glow, where mango and banana collide for a creamy dose of vitamin C.
For the grand finale, the resort’s children-only lounge is getting a hauntingly glamorous makeover. Westin Kids Club will be the site of the Haunted House Halloween Party for an evening of ghoulish revelry. Little ones can go trick-or-treating around the resort after completing their costume with a playful face painting, dance the night away to some chilling tunes, participate in games and finally unwind with a fun scary movie.
