Dessy Ananta’s journey in music began at just three years old, when she taught herself to sing, driven by an innate passion. Eager to hone her gift, she took on classical vocal training at the Yogyakarta Music School in 2010 and later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta’s Faculty of Performing Arts in 2017.
Her dedication has brought her notable recognition, such as being chosen for Indonesia Youth Choir second generation, led by esteemed conductors from the Philippines and the USA. Adding to her list of achievements, she took the spotlight as a vocal soloist with the Jakarta City Philharmonic Orchestra.
Dessy has illuminated Indonesia’s most iconic stages, from Taman Ismail Marzuki to Istana Negara Jakarta, and continues to push her artistry to new heights. She now sets her sights on enchanting audiences worldwide, dreaming of performing classical repertoire on international theatre stages with the symphony of a full orchestra.
