A Magnificent Debut in Asia

Andaz Bali opens on the Island of the Gods, the first Andaz resort in Asia where modern interpretation of the traditional Balinese village is taken to another level.

For decades, the beautiful island of Bali has been on wish lists for a dreamy tropical getaway with its picturesque nature and endless white sand beaches being two of the key factors that seduce international travellers into visiting the island. Now, Hyatt Hotels has unveiled Andaz Bali.

Located in the heart of Sanur, Andaz Bali offers a contemporary take on the traditional Balinese village and its way of life. The resort’s overall concept reflects the locale on an intimate scale with buildings nestled amid lush greenery and the use of the distinctive red brick, which is a common construction material in the area. The heart of the resort lies at the Village Square, where the open, barrier-free design invites guests and local residents to come together. Set in low-rise clusters, the guest accommodations and facilities are spread across a vibrant tropical landscape following the cardinal directions that play a significant role in the Balinese Hindu religion.

Andaz Bali has 149 guestrooms, including 18 Garden Villas and four Beach Villas arranged in a series of courtyards. Designed by Bangkok-based Tierra Design and Spin Design Studio in Tokyo, all living spaces are adorned in warm tones using locally sourced materials such as bamboo, andesite stone, marble and teakwood. Each room boasts a private balcony overlooking the garden, ocean or lagoon.

Dining at the new resort is a feast to remember with six distinctive dining venues. Fisherman’s Club is the resort’s signature restaurant serving an elevated take on a Jimbaran seafood dining experience, while at Village Square, guests are welcome to sit wherever they like and order from four intertwining restaurants.

Outside the rooms, guests are spoiled with five-star facilities, from the relaxing Shankha Spa in the adjacent Hyatt Regency Bali, to a refreshing dip in one of the three swimming pools at Andaz Bali.
