A city often comes down to the details. This summer in Bangkok, Burberry brings those details together in a takeover that puts fashion, hospitality, and the city itself into conversation.
Running until 31 July 2026, Burberry has transformed The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon, one of the Thai capital’s most recognisable hotels, with a seasonal concept inspired by British summer and Bangkok’s energetic character. Located within the landmark Mahanakhon building, the hotel has become the setting for Burberry’s latest hospitality project, introducing guests to a series of branded experiences across the property.
The first thing visitors are likely to notice is colour. The House Check pattern from Burberry has been given a makeover in a unique yellow colour, making an appearance throughout the hotel at the rooftop loungers, poolside cabanas and even at the photo booth at The Parlor. Another colour that comes into play here is green, the official colour of Bangkok.
This is not limited to just aesthetics. The afternoons at the rooftop pool can be enjoyed with a bespoke Burberry menu for guests, whereas bespoke ice pops are served from a bespoke cart, taking in the panoramic view of the Bangkok skyline. Health-related activities have also been incorporated into the program owing to Burberry’s heritage of outdoor living and exploration.
To mark the launch, the takeover debuted with a celebratory event featuring a performance by a local artist. Friends of the brand were also invited to discover the city abroad Burberry Check Tuk-Tuks, adding a distinctly Bangkok touch to the occasion.
The hotel boutique will carry Burberry High Summer and Summer 2026 collections throughout the activation, allowing visitors to connect the experience with the brand’s latest seasonal designs.
Set against the backdrop of one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cities, Burberry Summer at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon captures a particular moment of the season. Bright days, warm evenings, and a fresh interpretation of a familiar British house, all viewed from above the city streets.
