An evening at Hiliwatu, Bali Ubud, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, united industry partners through meaningful connections, cultural experiences, and a shared commitment to community impact.
The Marriott Business Council Bali, Lombok and Labuan Bajo recently hosted a Networking Soirée and Charity Auction at Hiliwatu, Bali Ubud, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, bringing together travel partners, media representatives and hospitality professionals for an evening centred on collaboration and social responsibility.
Held on 24 April 2026, the gathering formed part of the organisation’s Customer Activity Pillar, a programme designed to strengthen relationships between Marriott’s partners while also supporting the local communities connected to its growing hospitality portfolio across Bali, Lombok and Labuan Bajo.
Set against the peaceful highlands of Bresela village in Ubud, the soirée combined networking opportunities with cultural experiences that reflected Bali’s artistic heritage. Guests enjoyed contemporary Balinese performances with sustainability themes, alongside interactive sessions intended to encourage meaningful conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.
One of the evening’s highlights was a charity auction supported by Marriott properties across the region. Proceeds from the initiative were donated to Yayasan Cahaya Mutiara Ubud, a foundation dedicated to supporting people with disabilities. The programme reinforced Marriott’s wider commitment to inclusivity and community engagement under its Serve360 initiative.
According to Go Kondo, the initiative aimed to bring partners closer not only to Marriott’s portfolio, but also to the communities the group serves. Through events such as this, the organisation hopes to create stronger relationships while leaving a positive and lasting impact.
The event also offered guests an introduction to Hiliwatu, Bali Ubud, which celebrated its soft opening earlier this year as one of Marriott’s newest destinations in Bali. Visitors explored the resort’s villas, suites and facilities, while taking part in traditional Boreh and Dupa-making activities. Adding a creative touch to the evening, the resort’s executive chef unveiled an edible chocolate art installation inspired by the panoramic views surrounding the property.
