A: Storyteller, relationship builder, strategist, leader, cheerleader, problem solver, mentor, collaborator.
Q: What makes a typical day in your line of work?
A: I am fortunate that throughout my entire career, I have never experienced a typical day. This is precisely what I appreciate being in the hospitality industry – the dynamic nature of this industry that brings in fresh excitement and new opportunities every day.
Q: What does your day off look like?
A: During my day off, I typically run various errands. I also enjoy hanging out with my husband, and dote on our dogs, Cooper and Jax.
Q: What do you find most satisfying in your job?
A: Strong relationships are an integral component of a successful sales person. Relationships are based on trust and unwavering integrity, so when a client expresses that they value our partnership, I feel a sense of gratification and achievement. These relationships are truly what make my work meaningful and fulfilling.
Q: Who has been the most influential figure in your career?
A: I have been lucky to be guided by incredible leaders who have taken their time to develop me into the sales person and leader that I am today. This journey has not been shaped by one person, but rather by the influence of several amazing people, including Cora De Conceicao-Stuart, Kenneth Law and Andreas Kohn – all of whom were integral mentors for me in my career.
Q: Name one really special thing about your hotel?
A: The sense of calm the moment one enters the resort, and the positive energy resonates throughout the resort. What’s more – our breathtaking views and expansive surroundings add to its allure.
Q: Tell us something about you that most people don’t know.
A: No movie, no matter how well-written or directed, can turn me into a sobbing mess unless it’s a movie with an animal as its protagonist!
Q: If you had not taken this career path, what would you have chosen?
A: Two possible careers – I would have probably ended up as a radio DJ. I love music and cannot spend a moment without it or I would have also probably ended up a lawyer.
