The Apurva Kempinski Bali’s flagship sustainability summit returns this June, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and young changemakers to drive regenerative action for the future.
Sustainability is no longer simply about reducing impact; it is about restoring, renewing, and creating positive change. Reflecting this mindset, The Apurva Kempinski Bali has announced the return of its annual Path to Sustainable Growth summit, taking place on 24 June 2026 at the resort’s Candi Ballroom.
Now in its fourth year, the one-day event adopts the theme Regenerate for the Future, signalling a significant shift from sustainability discussions towards practical regenerative solutions. Building on the success of previous editions, the summit aims to foster meaningful collaboration across a diverse range of sectors, including hospitality, finance, agriculture, education, and the creative economy.
The initiative reinforces The Apurva Kempinski Bali’s position as a sustainability leader, following its recognition as the first hotel in Indonesia to achieve GSTC certification. More importantly, it highlights the growing understanding that today’s environmental and social challenges require collective action across industries.
Following the strong response to the 2025 summit, which welcomed more than 250 professionals and practitioners, this year’s programme is designed to deliver measurable outcomes through four strategic pillars: Repurposing, Refreshing Lives, Regenerating, and Rethinking Resources.
The summit’s agenda features four expert-led panel discussions. Topics will explore the preservation of cultural heritage, environmental stewardship, renewable energy, industrial innovation, wellness, and social sustainability. Distinguished speakers include business leaders, sustainability experts, cultural advocates, and entrepreneurs such as Wulan Tilaar, Anak Agung Gde Rai, Heinz von Holzen, Chandra Panjiwibowo and Natasha Clairine Mintarga.
Extending beyond the summit itself, the event also incorporates Seeds of Change, an eight-week mentorship and incubation programme designed to support Indonesia’s most promising students and early-stage start-ups. Participants will receive guidance in business development, sustainability strategy and impact creation, with grants awarded to the top two projects. The winning team will receive IDR50 million, while the runner-up will receive IDR20 million.
By combining thought leadership with tangible support for future innovators, Path to Sustainable Growth 2026 continues to demonstrate how regenerative thinking can help shape a more resilient and sustainable future for Indonesia and beyond.
