The Langham, Hong Kong, a name synonymous with grace and elegance, will celebrate the festive season by transforming into a golden Christmas grotto with Christmas displays, carols and an array of stunning festive menus this December. With all the style and aplomb one would expect from this most distinguished grand hotel, a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year are assured.

The guest experience begins as you enter the hotel’s lobby and are greeted by a homely fireplace surrounded by glittering Christmas trees and gift boxes, pillar candles, stockings and patterned glass jars; a scene straight out of Hollywood’s most inspiring Christmas movies.

Especially for guests with children, Santa Claus will make a special appearance on 24th, 25th and 26th December, while on Christmas Eve a choir will perform modern renditions of traditional holiday songs.

The celebration extends to the Langham’s renowned dining outlets. At Palm Court, The Langham’s sophisticated lounge and restaurant, guests are invited to relish the White Christmas Afternoon Tea, with classic Christmas log, snowmen with chestnut cream and chocolate choux pastry, white chocolate and Baileys macaron, as well as its famous signature homemade scones, available throughout December.

On Christmas Day, Palm Court will also feature a lavish dinner buffet with over 30 seasonally inspired dishes alongside fresh lobster and foie gras cooked-to-order.

A natural extension to Palm Court, Artesian Bar is one of Hong Kong’s most refined lounges. Unwind next to the fireplace with a wide selection of wines and premium spirits and toast Christmas or the end of 2017 with The Snowman and Pink Christmas, new cocktails for the festivities. The former concoction is well shaken with Malibu rum, grapefruit sour and vanilla ice cream while the latter is a scented mix of spiced bourbon, coconut cream, pineapple juice and chocolate.

Meanwhile at Bostonian Seafood and Grill there’s a stunning collection of seasonal set menus. Dishes such as pan-roasted Alaskan black cod and pistachio-crusted rack of lamb scented with lemon are sure to entice, whilst through the evenings of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, a selection of special desserts will also be served.

At Main St. Deli guests can either dine-in or order the hotel’s celebrated Turkey-To-Go Combo. Delivered in a wood-grained box, the package features a US turkey with stuffing, gravy, cranberry-orange sauce and all the trimmings that feeds up to 20 people. It also comes with pumpkin soup and your choice of dessert from pumpkin cheesecake, pecan and cherry pie and the hotel’s awesome Christmas pudding.

Finally and never to be outdone, the Langham’s three Michelin-star T’ang Court restaurant will present an exclusive seven-course New Year’s Eve dinner meticulously prepared and presented by Executive Chef – Chinese Cuisine Kwong Wai Keung and his culinary team. The dinner will include signature highlights such as baked stuffed crab shell with crab meat and onion, braised dried abalone with bêche-de-mer and much more.
